Job Summary
Senior Medical Representative in the Karbala region for AstraZeneca, responsible for driving product awareness and adoption by conducting regular medical visits to healthcare professionals, delivering scientifically accurate messages, and promoting products per regulatory and company guidelines. Develop and execute territory sales plans with sales managers, manage budgets to meet objectives, apply marketing and medical promotion strategies, maintain CRM records (Veeva), coordinate medical information and pharmacovigilance activities, organize promotional meetings, monitor market dynamics, and build ethical relationships with healthcare professionals while maintaining up-to-date product and market knowledge. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and at least 3 years of pharmaceutical experience; bilingual English/Arabic communication skills are required; role is based in Karbala with no relocation option.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Representative in the pharmaceutical industry
- Proven track record in account management
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Veeva)
- English and Arabic proficiency
