Job Summary
Senior Medical Planner leads all phases of design for healthcare facilities, bringing expertise in medical architecture, clinical operations, and master planning. Partners with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-performing, future-focused healthcare solutions aligned with Living Design principles. Responsibilities include guiding design, master planning, programming, space and departmental layouts, building systems selection, and construction document oversight; mentors staff; participates in proposals and interviews; collaborates with healthcare group to meet client needs, schedules, budgets, and quality standards; develops healthcare operational projections and evaluates existing facilities. Proficiency in 2D/3D production, Revit, Rhino/Grasshopper, and visualization/presentation tools; LEED GA or related accreditation is valued.
Required Qualifications
- Professional degree in architecture
- Minimum 10-15+ years of architectural experience in healthcare facilities planning
- Professional architectural license
- Advanced knowledge of 2D/3D production software
- Advanced Revit
- Rhino and Grasshopper
- Microsoft Office / Adobe Suite
- Visualization tools such as Enscape and VRay
- Presentation tools such as InDesign and Photoshop
- LEED GA or within 6 months of hire
- ACHA Accreditation Preferred
