Job Summary
Oversees and directs clinical development programs in hematology, guiding design, execution, and interpretation of trials; ensures study integrity, safety and efficacy data review, and regulatory submissions; may supervise Medical Directors/Scientific Directors; provides in-house clinical expertise and collaborates with cross-functional teams to align clinical development plans with regulatory and business goals; stays current with clinical methodology, regulatory requirements, and quality standards (GCP/pharmacovigilance); requires an M.D. or D.O. with residency (subspecialty fellowship desirable) and minimum of 2 years clinical trial experience; must communicate effectively in English and work within a global cross-functional team.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) or non-US equivalent of M.D. degree
- Completion of a residency program strongly preferred
- Completion of a subspecialty fellowship desirable
- At least 2 years of clinical trial experience in pharmaceutical industry, academia, or equivalent
- Ability to run a clinical research program of moderate complexity with minimal supervision
- Strong English oral and written communication skills
