Job Summary
Senior Medical Director leads oncology-focused medical/scientific strategy and analysis for an agency, developing and disseminating data-driven insights, coordinating cross-functional teams, liaising with client physicians and key opinion leaders, preparing reports for medical meetings, and guiding content for scientific education and new business presentations. Requires in-person travel for client engagements and a strong background in medicine across oncology therapeutic areas; role emphasizes medical direction across departments and strategic alignment with healthcare/pharmaceutical marketing.
Required Qualifications
- PharmD; MD; PhD or a related field with 2+ years of applicable experience.
- MBA, business or marketing experience preferred.
- 4 years as a medical practitioner/clinical experience or relevant oncology work experience, including in genitourinary cancers such as prostate cancer.
- Knowledge of preclinical and clinical research methods and drug approval processes.
