Job Summary
Lead global medical compliance oversight within Roche's Global Quality team to protect patients and align regulatory efforts across Roche Pharma and Diagnostics. Architect and coordinate the Medical Device Council, drive data-driven insights to identify systemic risks, and shepherd issues through resolution. Serve as the primary point of contact across functions and affiliates, ensuring a unified approach to medical compliance while partnering with cross-functional teams and Critical to Quality networks. Provide comprehensive compliance assessments and strategic insights to senior leadership, focusing on unlocking value creation while managing enterprise-level risks. Requires 7+ years of experience in regulatory/compliance, strong MDR/GxP knowledge, and leadership capabilities. Fluency in English is required; relocation benefits are not available. Expect Mississauga, Canada as the primary location for compensation context.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in global quality/regulatory compliance
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific or quality-related field (or equivalent)
- Deep understanding of Medical Device Regulation (MDR) in Europe or the USA and global GxP requirements
- Proven problem-solving and strategic insight capabilities
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Ability to partner with senior executive leadership and navigate international matrix organizations
