Job Summary

Lead value, evidence, and outcomes initiatives supporting Dexcom's evidence-based strategy across products, populations, care settings, and healthcare decision-making environments. Develop scientifically rigorous medical resources translating clinical, real-world, health economic, quality, and outcomes evidence into clear communications for internal and external stakeholders. Serve as a trusted scientific advisor across Medical Affairs, HEOR, Clinical Affairs, Market Access, and other cross-functional teams to align evidence strategies with enterprise priorities. Identify strategic evidence gaps, recommend evidence-generation priorities, and establish scientific relationships with healthcare organizations, health plans, professional societies, and advocacy groups. Provide expert guidance on evidence assessments, value-based care strategies, policy discussions, and access-related priorities while contributing to scientific publications, congress activities, and medical education resources. Manage 15-25% travel; salary ranges from $164,200 to $273,600.

Required Qualifications

  • MD, DO, PhD, PharmD, PA, NP, MSN, MPH, MS, or other relevant clinical or scientific degree
  • significant experience in Medical Affairs, HEOR, healthcare quality, population health, evidence strategy, market access, medical communications, or a related healthcare discipline
  • expert knowledge of clinical research methodology, study design, real-world evidence, health economics, outcomes research, and healthcare quality
