Job Summary
Develop and execute integrated medical strategies for GSK's Lung Cancer portfolio in Germany, translating global plans into local actions aligned with the healthcare environment. Lead launch readiness activities for upcoming assets by coordinating with Commercial, Market Access, and Regulatory teams to drive scientific differentiation and evidence generation. Establish credible relationships with external experts, academic centers, and professional societies to organize advisory boards and gather actionable insights for stakeholders. Identify evidence gaps, support real-world evidence initiatives, and lead the development of scientific materials and educational content while ensuring full compliance with local regulations and GSK policies.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related discipline
- PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent scientific qualification
- Significant experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
- Strong expertise in Oncology
- Demonstrated experience in Lung Cancer / Thoracic Oncology
- Experience supporting or leading oncology launches in Germany
- Understanding of the German healthcare system, reimbursement landscape, and AMNOG processes
- Experience in scientific engagement with key opinion leaders and academic research networks
- Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration in a matrix organization
- Deep understanding of Lung Cancer treatment paradigms and evolving standards of care
- Knowledge of clinical development, evidence generation, and publication planning
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements governing scientific engagement
- Demonstrates scientific leadership and strategic thinking
- Influences without formal authority across functions and stakeholders
- Drives execution and accountability in complex cross-functional projects
