Senior Media Planner

Job Summary
Own and develop the media engagement for assigned retail and CPG client portfolios by building relationships with client counterparts and acting as a trusted advisor to drive customer-first value creation. Establish comprehensive media account plans that align with client needs, including stakeholder mapping and ROI forecasting, while collaborating across marketing, loyalty, and digital functions to support strategic objectives. Manage budget creation, forecasting, and delivery for business areas, proactively identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities to achieve revenue targets. Provide day-to-day coaching to junior team members, deliver training on media channels, and package insights to demonstrate delivered value. Contribute to global retail media trend analysis, lead case study creation, and support client renewal efforts through consistent collaboration with internal teams and external agencies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or foreign educational equivalent) in Business, Communications, Marketing or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in Media strategy development and planning (including digital media) across marketing, selling, and servicing within complex, multi-channel retail clients
- At least 5 years of experience providing inputs into new business strategies to innovate and grow the business revenue
- At least 5 years of experience working closely with media and shopper marketing agencies
- At least 5 years of experience leading and managing sales negotiations
- At least 3 years of experience creating transition plans for integrating new clients into commercial teams
- At least 3 years of experience understanding both the supplier's and retailer's commercial processes to deliver useful solutions
- At least 3 years of experience in insight analysis and storytelling using data visualization tools
- Up to 10% international travel for client meetings, retailer engagements, and internal strategic planning sessions
- May work remotely 100% of the time from their home office, consistent with dunnhumby's remote work policy
