Senior Media Officer - Science

Senior Media Officer – Science responsible for turning complex cancer science into compelling narratives that inform and influence policy. Lead high-impact media activity, land stories across national, specialist and broadcast outlets, translate science into accessible storytelling, and develop press materials, pitches, and multi-channel campaigns. Build relationships with journalists, collaborate across teams, track coverage, and bring human stories to life by connecting research to real people. Requires a science degree or equivalent ability to translate scientific papers into engaging stories, strong writing and communication skills, proactive storytelling, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, reactive environment. Experience in policy environments and cross-team collaboration is highly beneficial.
