Job Summary
Lead service technicians in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated packaging and conveyor systems, including relay logic, ladder diagrams, and control components. Create and close out work orders with labor data, audit preventative maintenance procedures, and mentor junior technicians to grow their roles. Promote a safe working environment by strictly following all safety procedures while managing projects and maintaining positive relationships across the Operations facility. Requires 4+ years of experience with material handling equipment, 3+ years with a CMMS, and 2+ years of PLC programming. Full-time on-site role in Hamburg, NY, offering weekly pay and comprehensive benefits starting day one.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience with material handling equipment and automated conveyors, including preventative maintenance and blueprint/schematic reading
- 3+ years of experience with a CMMS
- 2+ years of PLC programming experience
- Experience acting in a team lead capacity, mentoring and supporting less experienced technicians
- Ability to work flexible schedules and shifts
- Ability to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb steps and ladders, use an aerial lift, and frequently lift up to 50 lbs of equipment
- Ability to perform tasks while wearing required PPE, including hard hat, face mask, face shield, and composite toe shoes
- Regularly required to crouch, bend, and reach to install or move equipment
- Involves movement between departments, floors, and properties, averaging 6 to 12 miles per day
- Works in a warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures
- Regularly required to type on a computer for 1 to 2 hours per day
