Job Summary
Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician leads service technicians on the team in the installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will support the Operations Maintenance Team by designing solutions for difficult problems and managing projects. You will help train, and mentor service technicians and contract technicians. Responsibilities include promoting safety, maintaining and troubleshooting conveyor systems, installing and troubleshooting relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors, and actuators; creating, assigning, and closing work orders with labor hours and parts usage; leading and auditing preventative maintenance procedures; mentoring junior technicians; and maintaining positive relations across the Operations facility.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 4+ years of experience with material handling equipment (MHE) such as automated conveyors and controls
- 4+ years of experience conducting preventative maintenance
- 4+ years of experience reading blueprints and schematics
- 3+ years of experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- 2+ years of experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
- Experience acting in a team lead capacity that supports, trains, and mentors less experienced technicians
- Previous vendor management experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
