Job Summary
Lead service technicians on the team in the installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment. Design solutions for difficult problems and manage projects within the Operations Maintenance Team. Train and mentor service technicians and contract technicians. Responsibilities include promoting safety, maintaining and troubleshooting conveyor systems, installing and troubleshooting relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors and actuators, creating and closing work orders with labor hours and parts, overseeing preventative maintenance procedures, and fostering positive relationships across the Operations facility.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 4+ years of experience working with material handling equipment (MHE) such as automated conveyors and controls
- 4+ years of experience conducting preventative maintenance
- 4 + years of experience reading blueprints and schematics
- 3+ years of experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- 2 + years of experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) programs
- Experience acting in a team lead capacity that supports, trains, and mentors less experienced technicians
- Previous vendor management experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project, with the ability to create and manage documents effectively
- Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts
