Job Summary
Design, prototype, and test custom PCBs for robotic manipulators while ensuring EMC/EMI compliance from schematic design through implementation. Lead programming of industrial robot paths, design pneumatics, and collaborate with mechanical engineers to integrate electronics into control units. Define system architecture, approve electrical schematics and CAD models, and manage component ordering with suppliers. Participate in commissioning, field testing, and project reviews to align timelines and budgets. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to high-level technical reports. Join INETEC's R&D Division, delivering nuclear industry solutions with a Master's degree and 7+ years in robotic systems development.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Master's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering (preferably in mechatronics and robotics)
- A minimum of 7 years of work experience in the development of complex robotic systems or product development
- Advanced understanding, analysis, optimization and creation of incoming technical project requirements
- Advanced understanding, creation and approval of technical documentation
- Advanced understanding of the mechatronic aspect of product development and system optimization, including a strong awareness of and responsibility for the selection and ordering of required components for systems, prototyping, testing, and production
- Advanced knowledge of electronic and pneumatic components required for the development of robotic devices
- Advanced knowledge of software for drawing electronic schematics and printed circuit boards (e.g. Altium, KiCAD, Eagle)
- Advanced knowledge of software for drawing electrical systems (e.g. AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN), the MS Office suite (MS Project) and project management
- Understanding of industry standards and regulations
- Advanced proficiency in spoken and written English
- Proactive and solutions-oriented approach, detail-focused, team-oriented and positive attitude
