Job Summary
Operate, inspect, maintain, and repair production machinery and utilities, including boilers, compressors, generators, conveyors, dryers, and cashew processing equipment. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, diagnose mechanical faults, and carry out timely repairs to minimize production downtime. Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery while ensuring safety compliance. Monitor spare parts inventory, maintain accurate maintenance logs, and ensure adherence to GMP, HACCP, BRC, and factory safety standards. Collaborate with production and quality teams to optimize equipment reliability and operational performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial manufacturing or food processing environment
- Proven experience in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repair of industrial production machinery and utilities
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills with the ability to work under pressure
- Good communication, organizational, and record-keeping skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of GMP, HACCP, BRC, and factory health and safety standards
- Experience supervising or guiding junior technicians
- Familiarity with cashew processing or food manufacturing operations
