Job Summary
Oversee large-scale commercial and industrial construction projects from setup to closeout, specifically within mechanical and structural scopes for data centers, power generation, renewables, mining, and oil and gas. Manage teams of employees, including Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers, while supervising daily work and verifying conformance of finished products against contract requirements. Coordinate labor, equipment, and subcontractor resources to ensure timely, cost-effective completion, ensuring all safety and environmental requirements are met. This role requires 8 years of managing industrial or commercial construction projects, with 5 years in the mechanical field, and involves travel and potential exposure to extreme temperatures and confined spaces.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of experience managing industrial or commercial construction projects
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the Mechanical field
- Ability to travel
- Driver's license with a clean driving record
Desired Qualifications
- Engineering or Construction Management Degree preferred
- Experience with HCSS Heavy Job or similar job costing program
- Experience with P6 or similar scheduling software
- Experience with Viewpoint or similar account software
- Experience with Heavy Bid or similar estimating software
- Proficient with all Microsoft Office products
- Completion of OSHA or equivalent safety training
