Senior Mechanical Project Engineer

Senior Mechanical Project Engineer responsible for directing and coordinating the engineering and design of assigned projects, coordinating timely decision-making on technical issues, and managing technical interfaces among engineers, customers, and subcontractors. Includes providing technical and delivery leadership, overseeing subcontractor engineering work, defining and mitigating technical risks, ensuring compliance with customer, internal, and regulatory requirements, supporting proposals with technical portions, tracking progress and resources, coordinating Engineering Design Reviews, managing design change notices and cost collection, and performing Responsible Configuration Management. Requires a Bachelor of Science in engineering-related field and a minimum of 8 years in power industry project management, design, or operation. Location/hybrid work options at hub sites Markham (ON, CA), Wilmington (NC, US), and Atlanta (GA, US) with relocation assistance available. Preferred background in mechanical/civil disciplines, nuclear domain knowledge, leadership and presentation skills, Government contracting experience, travel readiness, and familiarity with Primavera; GE leadership program graduates and Six Sigma training are noted as desirable.
