Job Summary
Senior Mechanical Process Engineer responsible for developing and automating production processes, including machine building and CAD/ProE/CREO design. Applies pneumatics, diverse materials (plastic, aluminium, stainless steel, sheet metal), and manufacturing principles to different materials. Interfaces between operator and system, ensures quality, reliability, and safety via safety interfaces, and collaborates with global R&D centers within multidisciplinary teams. Requires a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronics and 7–10 years of experience, with knowledge of pneumatics, automation, Lean manufacturing, CREO, and problem-solving methods (8D, 5Why’s).
Required Qualifications
- Master degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Mechatronics
- 7 – 10 years of experience in similar roles
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of pneumatics and automation
- Knowledge in Lean manufactering
- Experience in mechanical design (preferably software CREO)
- Knowledge of materials (plastic, aluminium, stainless steel, sheet metal)
- Definition and implementation of the automation of production processes
- Interface between operator and system/machine
- Safety interfaces and machine safety
- Collaboration with R&D centers
- Working within multidisciplinary project teams
- Knowledge of problem solving (8D, 5Why's)
