Senior Mechanical HVAC Estimator

Job Summary
Conduct quantity take-offs and basic labor/material cost calculations for HVAC systems. Review project plans, specifications, and scopes of work under supervision. Support bid preparation processes including compiling subcontractor and vendor quotes. Help develop and organize estimate documentation for submission. Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits with estimators or project managers. Maintain project bid files and follow up on outstanding vendor or subcontractor information. Enter estimate data into bid software or spreadsheets for tracking and analysis. Work closely with team members to learn the estimating lifecycle from bid to hand-off. Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all assigned tasks. Deliver work in a timely manner and meet internal estimate deadlines. Communicate effectively with team members and request guidance when needed. Follow safety procedures and company policies when on job sites.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Associate degree or trade school experience
- 2+ years of experience in HVAC, estimating, or construction support (including internships or co-op experience)
- Basic understanding of blueprint reading and construction documents
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
