Job Summary
Conduct construction document reviews and manage work scope for large HVAC projects at two Department of Energy facilities. Provide technical direction to engineers and plan, organize, and coordinate process/engineering team design projects from inception to startup. Support the planning and execution phases of these initiatives while identifying candidates for future business growth. This full-time role requires a Bachelor's in mechanical engineering and seven years of HVAC experience in nuclear facilities, with a hybrid schedule in Aiken, SC, or Knoxville, TN.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- 7 or more years of HVAC engineering experience in nuclear facilities
- project management experience
- US citizenship
- Working knowledge of federal (including DOE Orders), state, and local codes and standards applicable to HVAC design and systems
Desired Qualifications
- Active DOE Q or Top Secret security clearance
- DOE/NNSA work experience or knowledge
