Job Summary
Develop comprehensive facility mechanical designs by applying advanced mechanical and HVAC theory to produce riser diagrams, schedules, and plans. Coordinate electrical, plumbing, and fire protection system requirements into mechanical designs while attending internal and client coordination meetings. Implement inputs from the project engineer using Revit, AutoCAD, and energy calculation software to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and best practices. Take personal ownership of work produced while developing problem-solving abilities and learning project management fundamentals. Expectation of technical and management growth to assume a more responsible role within a collaborative team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- E.I.T. exam passed
- military training
- field experience
- proven relevant technical experience
- Experience working in a professional A/E office, Consulting Firm, Construction Contractor, or equivalent
- Ability to travel
- Proficient in Revit
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Proficient in energy calculation
- Proficient in word processing
- Proficient in spreadsheet
- Strong written communication skills
- Strong verbal communication skills
- ability to participate in a collaborative team environment
