Job Summary
Senior Mechanical Engineer responsible for designing HVAC systems for large commercial and educational facilities, including load calculations, equipment sizing for pumps and ductwork, and developing coordinated Revit models and AutoCAD documents. Lead QA/QC on construction documents, provide design ideas and mentoring to Designers and Engineers, manage Revit modeling techniques and project documentation, and oversee equipment schedules and interference checks. Requires 6+ years of experience, a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field, proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam, and ability to perform site visits. Preferred PE license; strong communication, time management, and project experience in K-12 educational market; knowledge of energy compliance calculations and Title-24 using Energy Pro. Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of work experience with an engineering consultant
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering technology degree
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam
- Physical ability and willingness to conduct site inspections and fieldwork, i.e., climb ladders, walk on roofs, etc.
- Ability to self-assess and command a high level of accuracy
