Job Summary
Senior Mechanical Components Design and Analysis Engineer to provide daily technical engineering support for component engineering and lead design/analysis of major nuclear plant components (e.g., steam generator, pressurizer) to support the operating nuclear fleet, including upgrades, repairs, and modifications. Responsibilities include coordinating installation, fabrication, testing and qualification of repairs or replacements; applying engineering to qualify pressure boundary components; solving complex problems and addressing outage issues; performing Finite Element Analyses (ANSYS) and other CAD-based design work; producing technical reports and cost estimates; ensuring safety and regulatory compliance; and supporting inspections/outages. Requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering, 5-7 years of engineering experience, proficiency in ANSYS, knowledge of ASME codes, CAD proficiency (Inventor/SolidWorks), and strong communication and leadership abilities.

- Proficient in ANSYS
- Working knowledge of ASME codes
- Familiarity with Inventor or SolidWorks or similar CAD
- Teamwork skills including leadership and participation
- Strong communication of technical information
- Experience with drawings in Inventor or SolidWorks
