Job Summary
Senior Mechanical Engineer (Site Infrastructure) responsible for designing and implementing custom infrastructure for Skyfall’s next-gen printing system, including thermal management, industrial plumbing, and high-flow gas delivery; developing factory performance monitoring with DAQ for real-time visibility into utility health, pressure, and flow; overseeing critical utilities (power, process water, nitrogen/argon) with safety compliance; defining preventive maintenance for facilities equipment (pumps, compressors, HVAC) to optimize uptime and enable automation opportunities; securing fluid components and high-pressure fittings to keep projects on track; leveraging CAD tools for facility layouts and piping routes while ensuring compliance with EHS and industrial standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or similar engineering discipline
- 5+ years of facilities engineering, factory engineering, launch/ground systems engineering or similar experience
- Strong first principles understanding of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer
- Hands-on ability to troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and fluid systems
