Job Summary
Conduct engineering and 3D Revit support for HVAC, piping, plumbing, and fire protection projects, performing load calculations, ductwork static pressure analysis, and pump head evaluations. Lead independent design phases on major or moderate projects by devising new solutions, adapting standard methods, and coordinating with other disciplines. Supervise less experienced engineers, check drawings, and participate in client meetings to define scope and present progress. Prepare specifications and cost estimates while maintaining current design methods. Travel required. Bachelor's degree in engineering and PE licensure required, with twelve years of experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited college program, which qualifies for licensure in the state of practice
- PE or PE-tracked preferred plus (12) twelve or more years of related practical experience
- Experience with, and the ability to size HVAC equipment, duct and ancillary equipment, hydronic, utility piping systems, and plumbing systems
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Valid driver's license
- Travel required
Desired Qualifications
- PE or PE-tracked preferred
- Experience with AutoCAD, REVIT, and MicroStation
- Experience with Microsoft Software (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Experience working on Automotive, Manufacturing, and Commercial projects
- Good communication skills
