Job Summary
Senior Mechanical Engineer/Designer responsible for design and development of electro-mechanical equipment. Role involves designing systems with SolidWorks from concept to production, performing FEA analysis, producing and updating drawings and BOMs in accordance with ASME Y14.100 and MIL-STD-31000, interfacing with manufacturing and suppliers, and providing test support. Must have 4-year Mechanical Engineering degree with 10+ years (or 2-year technical college/military experience with 15+ years) and experience in mechanical systems, power generation and distribution, and enclosure design with thermal analysis. Requires travel up to 20% and eligibility to obtain U.S. Security Clearance. On-site at Seven Valleys, PA and Springfield, VA; no remote/hybrid arrangement.
