Job Summary

Lead multidisciplinary project teams through all design and construction phases, delivering high-quality mechanical engineering solutions on schedule and within budget. Prepare detailed deliverables including calculations, narratives, drawings, and specifications while overseeing engineering calculations and equipment selection. Conduct site visits, perform issues reports, and lead coordination efforts between internal teams and external partners. Assemble and guide project teams, develop workplans, and provide technical direction and mentorship to staff. Independently evaluate engineering judgment from concepts through construction, potentially serving as Project Manager or Engineer of Record.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Relevant professional credential (i.e., PE)
  • Minimum of 1-3 years Mechanical discipline lead, or 6-10 years' related work experience
  • Advanced understanding of mechanical engineering concepts
  • Advanced understanding of the application of building codes and mechanical industry standards
  • Proficient in mechanical system design, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection and Energy Modeling
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Revit/AutoCAD
  • Hybrid work schedule
