Job Summary
Senior Mechanical Engineer, PE leading the design and execution of HVAC and plumbing systems for healthcare, higher education, mission-critical, and commercial facilities. Drive design from concept through construction, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, develop scopes, proposals, and engineering narratives, mentor junior engineers, conduct field surveys, and ensure projects meet schedule, budget, and quality standards while staying current with evolving HVAC technologies and applicable codes (IMC/IBC). Preferred LEED AP/CPD/CEM credentials; experience with mission-critical or healthcare facilities; design-build delivery; strong technical writing, client-facing skills, and leadership in delivering high-performance building systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering (Mechanical Focus)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- 10+ years of professional experience in mechanical building systems design
