Job Summary
Oversee HVAC design from concept to completion, including continuous interface with design teams and clients. Produce engineering and energy studies using comcheck and Title 24, while managing plumbing systems for water, sewer, and gas. Write responses to Requests for Proposals and Requests for Qualifications for clients and marketing opportunities. Mentor and coordinate the work of designers and technical staff on multi-discipline projects, delivering tasks under minimal supervision. Requires a Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license and 10+ years of experience. Located in Portland, Oregon.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of related experience
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- Proven design experience with comfort and HVAC systems and related controls
- Proven design experience with plumbing systems including water, sewer, and gas
- Experience producing engineering and energy studies including comcheck, Title 24
- Experience mentoring and coordinating the work of EITs, designers, and other technical staff on various mechanical or multi-discipline projects
- Able to manage and deliver tasks under minimal supervision and guidance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and critical thinking ability
- Ability to work individually or in a multi-discipline team
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in AutoCAD and Revit is a plus
