Job Summary
Lead the mechanical design of water and wastewater infrastructure from concept through commissioning, including P&IDs, valve schedules, pump calculations, and safe access layouts. Coordinate with Electrical, Civil, Geotech, and Process designers to ensure projects meet programme, budget, and quality standards while actively designing out risk per CDM 2015. Collaborate with commercial, operational, and construction teams to develop efficient solutions and engage with clients using a one-team approach. Support the engineering team by coaching and mentoring staff to develop their skill sets.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Chartership (CEng) with a relevant Engineering Institution
- Experience of successfully delivering high quality outputs in accordance with design, quality and safety standards
- A valid driving licence
- Willingness to travel to sites across your operational region
- Water/wastewater experience
