Job Summary
Lead project execution and manage a mechanical engineering team while designing HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for various building types. Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems, define project scope aligned with client needs, and conduct engineering studies to prepare technical reports and deliver presentations. Develop project specifications and ensure adherence to industry standards. Requires a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and 15 years of A/E industry experience. This award-winning multi-discipline firm offers a hybrid role for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the U.S.
- 15 years of relevant experience in the A/E industry
- Expertise in building MEP system design and engineering
- Proficiency in AutoCAD MEP and Revit
- Experience with Trane Trace, equipment selection software, and Microsoft Office tools
- Strong project leadership and management capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed
Desired Qualifications
- LEED AP certification is preferred
