Job Summary
Lead Mechanical Engineer responsible for holistic evaluation and design of HVAC/MEP systems across commercial retrofit projects. Responsibilities include in-field verification, high-impact equipment sizing and ductwork/piping layouts, producing stamped construction documents and technical specifications, and guiding a team including mentoring a junior engineer. Collaborate with building automation, structural, and electrical teams; support business development with technical leadership and clear communication; stay abreast of industry trends to ensure durable, long-term building performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 10+ years in HVAC design with a focus on mechanical infrastructure and commercial retrofits OR 6+ years in HVAC design engineering with PE license
