Job Summary

Design, analyze, and maintain mechanical systems for upstream and midstream operations, including rotating equipment, pressure vessels, and pipelines. Perform stress, vibration, and fatigue analyses to ensure compliance with ASME, API, and ANSI standards while leading root cause investigations on equipment failures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize performance, establish preventive maintenance plans, and drive continuous improvements in efficiency and safety. Partner with project teams to review vendor proposals and oversee equipment installations. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 5-10 years of mechanical engineering experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Expertise with rotating equipment, pressure vessels, and pipeline systems
  • Proficiency in CAD and engineering analysis tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or ANSYS
  • Familiarity with oil and gas standards including API, ASME, and ANSI
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose complex mechanical issues and implement practical solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Commitment to accuracy, safety, and compliance in all engineering deliverables
  • Green Card or US Citizen only

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's or Professional Engineer [PE] license in Texas
