Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary
Lead the design, review, and execution of HVAC systems for large-scale building and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with international standards and UAE local authority regulations. Demonstrate deep knowledge of chilled water, VRF/VRV, DX systems, ventilation and smoke extraction, and perform cooling load calculations using software (HAP, TRACE, IES, etc.). Prepare HVAC layouts, equipment selection and schedules, duct sizing and pump head calculations; support tunnel ventilation projects; contribute to fire protection and plumbing design considerations; collaborate with BIM teams to develop 3D models and 2D layouts; provide client-facing technical proposals and recommendations. Requires a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) and 10+ years of relevant experience, with strong familiarity with ASHRAE, NFPA, UAE FLS/SBC, and DEWA/ADDC regulations, and experience in EPC projects with vendor design integration.
