Job Summary

Lead DFM design reviews for new product structures across sheet metal, injection molding, machining, and stamping, outputting optimization plans to mitigate process risks and reduce complexity. Drive NPI execution by defining process routes and assembly schemes, resolving trial production issues to ensure high yield and on-time delivery for 200+ unit projects. Manage mold and fixture development, optimizing supplier solutions and standardizing components to compress tooling costs and cycles. Spearhead cost reduction initiatives and establish enterprise-level design standards, while collaborating cross-functionally with R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to close quality loops.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Design and Manufacturing, Material Forming, Mechanical Electronics, or related majors
  • 3+ years of experience in structural process, DFM, or mass production structural development
  • Experience with complete product lifecycle from R&D to mass production
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks/Creo or similar 3D design software
  • Familiarity with ANSYS or similar simulation tools
  • Ability to independently complete modeling, drawing, and basic strength verification
  • Mastery of at least two mainstream processes including sheet metal, injection molding, machining, or stamping
  • Understanding of design rules, cost structures, and typical defect modes for the mastered processes
  • Ability to independently output process optimization proposals
  • Understanding of mold development processes
  • Ability to conduct mold review and trial mold problem analysis
  • Familiarity with BOM structure and material selection principles
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Clear logic and ability to independently follow up on trial production anomalies and drive closure
  • Strong cross-departmental communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong mass production and cost awareness

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in the industry of unmanned delivery robots, intelligent mobile devices, automated equipment, or commercial intelligent hardware
  • Led DFM optimization and mass production introduction for batch products of 100+ units
  • Achieved quantifiable cost reduction or efficiency improvement results
  • Familiarity with DFMEA/PFMEA methodologies
  • Understanding of ISO9001 or IATF16949 quality systems
  • Experience in building enterprise-level DFM design specifications and standardized part libraries
  • Background in structural development for special equipment such as robotic arms, wireless charging modules, or intelligent delivery terminals
