Job Summary
Senior Mechanical Engineer responsible for designing, building, testing, and iterating on mechanical systems for solar assembly. Will track, investigate, and resolve hardware issues with robots, while collaborating with other engineers to integrate new designs. Candidates should have a strong background in CAD software and the ability to fabricate parts, alongside excellent written communication skills. Ideal candidates are those with a 4-year degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
Required Qualifications
- Experienced with industry-standard CAD software (Onshape)
- Ability to fabricate parts and send drawings to a shop
- Excellent written communication skills
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced startup environment
- Motivated to contribute to mitigating climate change
