Senior Mechanical Engineer

Senior Mechanical Engineer leading the delivery of complex mechanical engineering tasks within a nuclear decommissioning programme. You will produce and review calculations, drawings, models, and reports; build strong customer interfaces and engage stakeholders; apply codes, standards and safety requirements to ensure compliance and design integrity throughout the project lifecycle; identify and manage risks and contribute to continuous improvement. You will support the development of junior engineers and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams. This full-time, hybrid role is based at Westlake’s Science Park, Moor Row or Warrington, Cheshire, with a 37-hour week and strong focus on safety, technical excellence, and stakeholder engagement.
