Job Summary
Senior Mechanical Engineer in Brisbane leading delivery of mechanical design packages for building services on mid to large-scale projects. Acts as discipline lead, owning design delivery from concept through delivery, advises clients on complex projects, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated and practical designs, supports project coordination and reporting, and builds strong client relationships while mentoring others. The role combines hands-on project work with leadership and client capability development.
Required Qualifications
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- Chartered, registered, or actively working towards chartership
- Experience delivering building services mechanical design within a consulting, contractor or client-side environment
- Experience taking ownership of design delivery, coordination and client interaction
- Ability to mentor and train others
- An enthusiasm to assist the wider team in business development and build on your own personal brand
- A track record of delivering practical, impactful outcomes
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
- A proactive approach with the ability to take ownership and drive outcomes
