Job Summary
Senior Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and modify mechanical layouts, schematics, and specifications; oversee manufacturing and installation processes; coordinate procurement and assembly of mechanical components; technically lead and/or execute engineering projects; develop custom tooling, fixturing, and related processes to enable handling, assembly, and disassembly throughout the product life cycle; apply GD&T, FEA (Structural/Thermal/CFD), and CAD tools (Teamcenter/UG or equivalent) to deliver robust mechanical solutions; require B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 6+ years of experience and willingness to relocate to Bangalore, India; travel up to 10% and relocation eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with relevant industry work experience
- 6+ years of experience in mechanical engineering
- Strong fundamentals in physics, mathematics, and materials science
- Experience designing, developing, and modifying mechanical layouts/schematics and detailed drawings
- Experience overseeing manufacturing and installation processes and coordinating procurement
- Hands-on experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Proficiency with Team Center/UG or equivalent software; FEA knowledge (Structural, Thermal, CFD)
- Experience with sheet metal and machined components
- Strong problem-solving and project leadership abilities
- Ability to prepare mechanical design reports and business/technical documentation
- Travel up to 10% (as listed)
