Job Summary
Senior Mechanical Engineer to design and develop next-generation aerosol jet additive manufacturing systems, lead mechanical design from concept to production, and collaborate across mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines. Focus on innovative solutions, prototype development, validation, and preparation for commercialization. Requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years of experience, proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks), and experience with additive manufacturing and precision equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering required; Master's preferred
- Minimum 5 years of mechanical engineering experience with product development
- Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
- Experience with 3D printing/additive manufacturing or related technologies
- Strong ability to conceive, develop, and implement innovative solutions
- Ability to design complex systems from concept through production
- Experience collaborating with electrical engineers on system architecture
- Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills
- History of delivering high-quality engineering solutions from concept to commercialization
