Job Summary
Conduct detailed engineering calculations for HVAC systems, including heating/cooling loads, static pressure, and hydraulic head pressure. Design, size, and layout ductwork and piping distribution systems while selecting appropriate equipment. Review architectural and engineering plans, perform site surveys, and attend meetings with architects, contractors, owners, and building managers. Organize project records, support construction administration by reviewing submittals and shop drawings, and prepare responses to RFIs. Conduct periodic field visits and provide professional feedback to meet project deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in buildings system designs in commercial, multi-family and/or hospitality areas
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or relating field
- Proficient in use of AutoCAD
- Proficient in use of Revit
- Proficient in use of MS Office
- Strong Technical skills
- Ability to work with others and provide professional feedback as required
- Ability to work diligently to meet project deadlines

- PE License
