Senior Mechanical Assembler - Manufacturing

Job Summary
Senior Mechanical Assembler responsible for hands-on assembly and testing of mechanical components including packers and valves, interpreting engineering drawings and SOPs, performing pressure testing, leak testing, torque application, copper plating, and phosphating. Focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement on the shop floor, with Lean initiatives (5S, TPM, Kaizen) and documentation using MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Collaborative work with engineering, quality, planning, and machine shop teams to improve utilization, capacity, and overall efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in assembly or manufacturing operations
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Heavy Engineering, or Automotive Manufacturing preferred
- Exposure to shop floor operations and process improvement initiatives
