Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles and mechanical equipment while adhering to OSHA standards and safety procedures. Perform complex diagnostics, test systems, adjust components, and conduct repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems. Document work and parts usage in fleet maintenance software, estimate costs, and requisition parts. Provide maintenance supervisory duties and train junior technicians on repairs and policies. Execute service calls and emergency breakdown repairs, adjusting workload based on operational priorities. Maintain tools, equipment, and shop facilities to ensure a safe environment.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years as a mechanic technician working on heavy equipment or similar role
- 3 years inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing trucks and stationary equipment
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located
- Valid driver's license Upon Hire
- Must be able to lift > 50 lbs
- Must be able to carry 20 - 50 lbs
- Must be able to push > 50 lbs
- Must be able to pull 20 - 50 lbs
- Must be able to climb
- Must be able to stoop
- Must be able to kneel
- Must be able to crouch
- Must be able to reach
- Must be able to feel

Desired Qualifications
- preferably in a diesel, automotive, construction, or industrial setting
- High School Diploma or GED (accredited)
- (CDL)-Class Valid CDL
- clean driving record
- If CDL is required, an applicant must be 21 years of age
