Job Summary
Senior Mechanic (Maintenance Mechanic) with 12-hour shift schedule (2-2-3 rotation) responsible for setting up, maintaining, adjusting, and troubleshooting production equipment; performs difficult repairs and rebuilds on complex machinery; fabricates parts using lathes, mills, welders and other machining tools; enforces safety procedures including Lock out/Tag out; supports installation/movement of equipment; analyzes data, communicates issues, develops solutions; collaborates with vendors/SMEs; trains and mentors team members; maintains clean, safe work area; requires strong mechanical/electrical aptitude, ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams, and proficiency with measurement tools; high attention to detail and commitment to quality; valid driver’s license needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED preferred, or commensurate experience relating to the job required; trade school is a plus
- 10+ years' experience in mechanical troubleshooting on automated manufacturing equipment
- 2-4 years of experience in industrial maintenance
- Lean manufacturing and/or quality control training preferred
- Previous participation on a safety team and/or safety training a plus
- Possession of a valid driver’s license
