Senior Materials Manager

Job Summary
Lead the development and continuous improvement of site-wide production planning policies, material control systems, and lean processes to ensure efficient, accurate, and cost-effective operations. Manage direct reports through daily coaching, performance management, and succession planning while overseeing production schedules, material requirement plans, and inventory levels using enterprise resource planning systems. Partner with business units, procurement, and operations teams to strategically plan material flow, optimize capacity planning, and drive supply and demand management processes. Proactively identify solutions in warehousing and scheduling to improve delivery, lead time, and cost performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- At least seven years' materials management experience
- manufacturing work experience in materials/production planning or supply chain management
- Experience supporting global operational footprint
- Experience managing a team of direct reports with an emphasis on development/coaching
- APICS certification is desired
- MS Office proficiency
- SAP Super User experience is preferred
- Lean and Six sigma training or certification
