Senior Material Handler (8hr 1st shift, Monday-Friday)

Job Summary
Conduct receipt, storage, and shipment of materials for warehouse operations, including picking, packing, and cycle counting in cold room environments. Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks while ensuring controlled substances and hazardous materials are managed per regulations. Prepare shipment documentation, address inventory discrepancies, and maintain quality metrics under Current Good Manufacturing Practices. Cross-train across designated warehouse areas and assist with internal audits and team leadership activities. Liaise with freight companies to manage deliveries and support ongoing OTJ training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field
- Ability to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
- Ability to lift and manipulate up to 50 pounds max unassisted
- Intermediate math skills
- Basic computer knowledge to navigate company systems (i.e. workday, SAP, iMost)
- Advanced verbal/written communication
- Ability to work independently and effectively
- Attention to detail while maintaining a quality product
- Ability to perform repetitive work duties
- Ability to follow SOPs
- Ability to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and understand chemical hygiene
- Ordinary ambulatory skills and physical coordination sufficient to move about office locations
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch periodically for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to manipulate (lift, carry, move) of light to medium weights of 10-35 pounds

Desired Qualifications
