Job Summary
Lead competitive proposal and SOQ preparation from initial planning through production, managing schedules, facilitating kickoffs, and delivering compliant submittals on time. Draft key sections including cover letters and win themes, apply Adobe InDesign for layout and design, and plan visual storytelling with graphics teams. Participate in Go/No-Go discussions, prepare decision matrices, and facilitate client and internal debriefs to refine future strategies. Build relationships with technical leaders, mentor marketing staff, and maintain systems tracking pursuit activity and award outcomes. Conduct market and competitor research, support targeted campaigns, and develop branded collateral like flyers and statements of qualification. Work fully remotely in the Pacific Time Zone with a base salary of $94,760 to $151,615.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or public relations
- six (6) years or more of progressive professional experience in engineering, architecture, or commercial construction
- ten (10) years of directly related experience
- any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the responsibilities of the position
- Progressive professional experience includes performing increasingly complex and varied technical and project assignments in the field of marketing and advertising
- prior experience leading proposal teams
- Working knowledge of the following Microsoft products: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Word, Teams, and SharePoint
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign
- An understanding and/or experience of the RFQ/RFP process
- Experience with techniques associated with the evaluation of promotional activities
- Experience with federal, state and local procurement procedures
- Experience with activities associated with the development and evaluation of marketing plans and their effectiveness
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret marketing, technical, and other business documents
- Ability to interview technical practitioners for marketing materials and proposals
- Ability to author marketing materials and correspondence that is well written and organized, clearly presented, focused on the subject at hand and furthers the Geosyntec brand
- Ability to create effective presentations and respond to inquiries from internal and external clients
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- Ability to write in a marketing and/or journalistic manner
- Availability to work standard business hours aligned within the Pacific Time Zone
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with graphic design and production, desktop publishing and presentation software
