Job Summary
Senior Marketing Operations Manager at Lyft leads end-to-end campaign execution across email, SMS, push, and in-app channels, bridging marketing and engineering to shape platform tooling and AI-driven personalization at scale. Responsibilities include campaign execution, dynamic template development with HTML/CSS, audience segmentation, QA and launch of complex campaigns, applying AI tools to improve efficiency and personalization, collaborating with enterprise ESPs (Braze, SFMC, Iterable) to identify platform gaps, driving cross-functional alignment with engineering, data science, and marketing teams, ensuring compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CASL, and mentoring junior teammates while optimizing processes for scale. The role is hybrid with in-office schedule (3 days/week) and up to 4 weeks/year remote, based in San Francisco or Seattle area.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of digital marketing experience
- minimum 3 years in communications development and campaign formation
- proficiency in SQL (e.g., WITH and JOIN functions)
- familiarity with email/channel marketing platforms (e.g., Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Iterable)
- experience navigating AI tools and automated pipelines in marketing operations
- ability to architect dynamic email templates using HTML/CSS
- strong verbal and written communications, stakeholder management and project management skills
- experience leading cross-functional projects and mentoring junior team members
- understanding of audience segmentation and targeting
- knowledge of basic experimentation principles
