Job Summary
Senior Marketing Executive to oversee performance marketing and owned media campaigns for the Economist Education B2C business, contributing to awareness, acquisition and retention. The role involves briefing, executing and monitoring owned B2C marketing campaigns (print, digital, email, organic social) to drive lead generation and sales; briefing paid media campaigns (PPC and paid social) and managing spend; owning the weekly sales performance deck for senior stakeholders; collaborating with in-house creative and editorial teams to develop campaign creatives; writing B2C website copy and marketing assets; developing seasonal campaigns and discounting strategies; overseeing lead-to-conversion optimization through Education’s B2C email nurture journeys in Salesforce Journey Builder; building automated nurture journeys with SFMC; managing Education inbox customer service and sales enquiries; and contributing to email strategy and testing in alignment with Head of Marketing. The role requires strong organization, ownership, commercial acumen, creative thinking, adaptability, and excellent communication, with at least 3 years of relevant experience and a track record in omni-channel B2C performance marketing.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM
- Experience building emails and email journeys (Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred)
- Experience running omni-channel B2C performance marketing campaigns (creative development, copywriting, execution, performance analysis and optimization)
- Experience working with agencies or in-house performance marketing teams on paid search and paid social
- Experience collaborating with creative teams (copywriters and designers) to brief and develop creative for campaigns
- Experience managing creative approvals from senior stakeholders
- Excellent English writing and communication skills (copywriting and editing)
- Experience with CRM and email marketing platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred)
- Strong data analytics skills with ability to translate numbers into actionable insights
- Experience working with startup environments
- Experience with CMS (e.g., Contentful) to edit websites and publish landing pages
- Proficiency in managing social media accounts, especially LinkedIn and Meta
