Senior Marketing Events Manager

Job Summary
Lead execution and management of strategic event programs across the Sample Management Solutions portfolio by aligning objectives with demand-generation strategies. Collaborate with leadership, the marketing director, and creative teams to develop cohesive messaging and ensure high-quality branding. Own the full event lifecycle, including sourcing, contracting, logistics, budget tracking, invoicing, and onsite implementation, while negotiating with organizers for optimal venues and speaking opportunities. Drive post-event follow-up with Sales Enablement and SFDC to maximize investment results. Manage event inventory, on-demand printing needs, and thought leadership initiatives including KOL engagements. Support corporate event planning and logistics as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Communications, or Marketing
- 5-10 years of event management experience in life sciences preferred with responsibility for large tradeshows and company events
- Experience negotiating and reviewing contracts
- Strong communication and networking skills
- Service-oriented approach
- Familiarity with event management software and lead retrieval technology
- Results-driven orientation: Analytical skills to evaluate results and optimize for the future
- Onsite role in Burlington, MA or Plainfield, IN
- 4 days/week
- Ability to travel up to 25%
