Job Summary
Senior Marketing Analytics Manager - BI & Data Architecture who designs robust data architectures, builds ETL pipelines and Gold Layer tables in Databricks, and develops semantic layers and data dictionaries to enable AI-powered self-serve BI. You’ll create dashboards and analyses to surface KPIs, perform ad-hoc deep-dives, and partner with marketing, sales, and data engineering to translate complex business requirements into scalable data models. The role emphasizes hands-on work with Python, SQL, DBT, Databricks, AI-enabled analytics workflows, and building analytics-ready datasets while aligning with Samsara’s cultural principles and a remote-friendly model.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Business, Economics or related analytical fields
- 5+ years of analytics, BI, AI or data engineering experience
- Expert in SQL, Python, DBT and visualization tools (Tableau preferred)
- Hands-on experience with Databricks or similar lakehouse architectures
- Experience building data backends, semantic layers, and documentation optimized for AI ingestion
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with data analysis experience
- Comfort with leveraging AI tools to accelerate data tasks and visualization workflows
- Experience supporting Sales, Product or Marketing teams
- Location: US remote exclude SF Bay Area, NYC Metro, DC Metro (as per job description)
